Outlook for Wednesday to Friday: A chilly start on Wednesday, though staying largely dry with hazy sunshine, mainly in the west. Turning windier and milder through Thursday, though dry. Breezy Friday, with rain at times.
UK Outlook for Friday 22 Nov 2019 to Sunday 1 Dec 2019: The unsettled weather is set to carry on into next week, as weather systems continue to push in across the UK, bringing a risk of rain and showers for many. It will turn milder than as of late, but it may feel cooler in some stronger winds that accompany any spells of rain. The west and northwest will likely see the best of any drier and more settled weather conditions. There is an above average risk of overnight fog forming in any clearer spells overnight, which could be slow to clear in places. The showers may continue to be wintry over the highest ground bringing some sleet or snow at times. Temperatures are expected to be around average or perhaps slightly milder for the time of year.
Mountsorrel is a village in Leicestershire on the River Soar, just south of Loughborough with a population of 6,662 inhabitants. A castle was built in 1080 by Hugh Lupus, but there is evidence of an earlier Norman settlement in the area in the form
of pottery fragments. A Roman villa is supposed to have existed on Broad Hill during the 4th century AD, the site of today's quarry, as quarrying during the late 1800s revealed many artefacts including a preserved wooden bucket. However, the first recording of the village was in 1377, when it had a population of 156.
The Mountsorrel Weather Station is located in Mountsorrel which is just South of Loughborough andjust North of Leicester, Leicestershire.
