UK Outlook for Sunday 25 Oct 2020 to Tuesday 3 Nov 2020: Unsettled conditions are expected to dominate during the period, with most parts of the UK seeing plenty of cloud and outbreaks of rain and showers. It will often be windy, with a risk of gales or even severe gales, especially in coastal areas. The wettest and windiest weather is likely to be found in the west and north-west of the country. However, some brief bright and dry spells are still likely at times in all parts of the UK, with the most settled conditions probably found across eastern and south-eastern areas. Overall, temperatures are generally looking to be close to normal for the time of year. Conditions may turn more settled close to the end of the period, particularly in the south.
UK Outlook for Wednesday 4 Nov 2020 to Wednesday 18 Nov 2020: Confidence is currently low for this period but there is an increased chance of more settled weather during November, especially in the south of the UK. Showery and windier conditions may remain more prevalent in the north. Temperatures probably trending to normal overall, with overnight frost and fog becoming more likely in any settled spells.

Mountsorrel is a village in Leicestershire on the River Soar, just south of Loughborough with a population of 6,662 inhabitants. A castle was built in 1080 by Hugh Lupus, but there is evidence of an earlier Norman settlement in the area in the form of pottery fragments. A Roman villa is supposed to have existed on Broad Hill during the 4th century AD, the site of today's quarry, as quarrying during the late 1800s revealed many artefacts including a preserved wooden bucket. However, the first recording of the village was in 1377, when it had a population of 156.

The Mountsorrel Weather Station is located in Mountsorrel which is just South of Loughborough andjust North of Leicester, Leicestershire.
